  Saturday, Oct. 18, 2014 I made an appt. for 10am. I have short hair, but needed a trim. I had a wash, cut and blow dry. Anna was available to do the job. I thought she knew how to cut hair. I explained that I wanted the length on my neck area to stay the same, only layer it out. I explained that I wanted the top (crown ) of my head to stay long and not to touch my bangs. I explained that I wanted it cut around my ears and have some body on the sides. Anna said she understood how I wanted it cut. BUT that's NOT what I got! The hair on top is cut sooo short I can't get a complete roll of hair on my curling iron. Way too, too short, exactly what I said, I DIDN'T WANT! Long patches of hair through out my head. Blunt cut, not layering or feathering around my face, ALL BLUNT CUT! The length around my neck chopped off way to short. One side is longer than the other and I had to trim it myself. Bottom Line: A CRAPPY HAIR CUT. Would not recommend this Salon, nor would I recommend Anna to touch anyone's hair!!! Money wasted!!!!
  
  Updated on 03/25/15 - Let me start by stating that Ana Mercado has since 03/20/15 called, emailed, texted me 2 to 3 times saying the same thing. She wants me to remove my negative review of her lousy work. She simply does not know how to cut hair. She chops, butchers and has the nerve to blame others for her business being effected. Ana called me 3/20/15 @ 12:51pm, I hung up on her, she called back @ 12: 54pm and I said not to call me again. She sent me ( 2 ) emails @ 3:26pm, and left me a irritating text @ 3:51pm, telling me I broke her business with my review and that I am wicked. Then she tells me to remove my review. She's got a screw lose! On 3/24/15 @ 8:17pm, while I holding my grandbaby in my arms, she calls me again and leaves me a voice mail telling me to remove my review. She's calling my home in the late evening, with no consideration for me or my family. 3/25/15 @ 6:51am, I called her back on the same number she called me the night before and told her to "STOP CALLING AND HARASSING ME"! That same morning @ 10:27am, I emailed her and said if you're this sensitive about negative reviews, maybe you should"t be in a business where there is a voice for public opinions. I said she was behaving a fool by constantly bothering me with all her nonsense. I told her I "WAS NOT" going to remove my review! It's my opinion and she being a business woman should know to let it go! I told Ana Mercado to act like a BIG GIRL AND GROW UP! Or i'll call the police and file harassment charges against her and her business. I stated I did't want to hear her or anyone associated with Michael's Hair Design, ever again.. How many other former customers has she done this to? What in Gods name is wrong with her?

  Ana is the owner of Micheal's Salon. She's my go-to colorist. She's a master at it! She can get my naturally dark hair to pure purple without damage. Then, back to brunette with highlights. Blonde ombré. Pink ombré. I drastically change my color every few months and she's the only person I trust who can do a fabulos job. Ana takes her time and does hair right.
